I was so confident of selling my home to the right family that I decided to start planning the only way I knew how. I began looking for the real estate agent who wanted to build on my lively dream. I had definite parameters when selecting a realtor. I wanted one that would properly embrace the vision of what I saw in the home and not just make a fast sale. I soon hired Antonio Matarranz and his army of tenacious assistants of Avangard Real Estate Services, in Dallas. Surely it was a good choice. Real estate agents usually approach the client as they would when you're just a boat launch away from the beauty of the beach. It's a glorious journey when it's done right. Unfortunately, my 'property' conjured up, shall we say, something scary - The Poseidon Adventure - thousands of things under the sea scary because the home had not been occupied for nearly two years. And realtors, when it's that nightmarish, avoid both the discomfort and the tidal wave of the unknown. But man, not Antonio Matarranz. Soon, he was drawn into the house. He made many visits to the property and decided that the interior of the home should not be staged, which is rare from the more glamorous "custom" homes. He sent me photographs, preferring instead to incorporate the statement of all the surrounding marble, flagstone, flamed copper, and construction of the home. Antonio Matarranz and his team clocked many hours to build the home's online statement of life and to host the perfect harmony of the Open Houses. They set out to find a buyer. They nixed any negativity. The team of Avangard stood side-by-side with me like an army. What was going to be an unadorned home turned into a love nest. And most importantly, they sold the house! This is the way of Avangard Real Estate Services. So, it's only natural that I call out to others as they look for a real estate agent or wish to sell their home: 'Call on Avangard!' They'll steer you right!

Many very favorable words come to mind when I think about Antonio and Avangard, but the first is definitely “perseverance.” Our house, a contemporary, was not a mainstream, easy sell. It needed buyers who wanted a very particular type of home that suited their personalities. Antonio was tireless in seeking out good prospects. He held open house after open house and showed and showed and showed the home until he found those buyers. Along the way, he also provided valuable connections from his network of trusted suppliers for maintenance, inspections and so forth. And he provided counsel on the sale, at the same time, of a piece of property in Europe — an extraordinary amount of expertise to find in one agent. Through it all, Antonio and the Avangard team kept up a steady flow of communication. In summary, the marketing of the home and the management of our agent-client relationship was all elegantly, graciously, and thoroughly done.
